# What Openpulse does not do

Worth stating plainly, because several of these are things comparable products do:

* **It does not log in to any platform** or bypass access controls. Only publicly available results are read.
* **It does not need your CRM or your inbox.** It reads public sources and sends results outward — by email, by signed webhook, or to an AI client you connect. It asks for no credentials to anything you own.
* **It does not send outreach.** Drafts are copied out by a person. See [Outreach drafts](/guides/outreach-drafts).
* **It does not post content.** Drafts are exported; you publish them. See [Content](/guides/content).
* **It does not claim customers it does not have.** There are no testimonials, no case studies and no customer logos on the site, because there are none to show yet. The row under the hero lists the sources actually read.
* **An AI assistant connected over MCP cannot create, change or delete a listener**, and cannot see what a run costs us. See [MCP & agents](/mcp/tools).
